I’m a scientist, not a graphic designer, so it may seem a little out of context that I have recently started to collaborate with Canadian graphic design company LogoBee on their new blogging venture. That said, I’m a good writer (even if I do say so myself) and I do like a good logo (did you see Google’s doodle today?) so this is a really interesting project for me and one that will be a refreshing change from biomedical issues. In my role as a copywriter, I have to work closely with web designers and developers and marketeers, so I think it will do me good to learn about the creative side of this industry.
I did get an A for GCSE art so I’m not *completely* underqualified…
Here’s the posts I’ve written this month:
- Web design vs. graphic design: what’s the difference?
- How to create a logo: Part 1 – The Brief
- How to create a logo: Part 2 – The Concept (hmm, this one doesnt work for some reason…)
